Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation provides legal advice and representation to seniors aged 60 and over for certain legal matters.

Assistance is available for cases that involve:

Legal services do not handle cases involving criminal and traffic cases, fee producing cases, cases in which a private attorney has been obtained, and civil cases.

The recipient of legal aid is given the opportunity to make a voluntary and confidential contribution for the service they received. Service will be provided regardless of the willingness or ability to pay. Any person over 60 is eligible for assistance but low-income seniors will have priority.

Representatives from Land of Lincoln hold appointments in the CCU offices on designated days with the exception of Jefferson county in which appointments are held at the Land of Lincoln Legal office. Please contact the office in the county in which you reside in for further information or to make an appointment.
