All offices offer free amplified phones for people in the Counties of Clay, Effingham, Fayette, Jefferson and Marion County who can no longer use a standard phone. Providing the free amplified phones are made possible through a program sponsored by the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation (ITAC). ITAC programs are required and governed by Illinois law.

Applying is easy and the requirements are simple.

A person must:
1. Be a legal resident of Illinois.

2. Have a standard working phone service in their residence.

3. Be hard of hearing and able to use a standard phone.
