Senior Spirit is a new volunter opportunity recently introduced. In cooperation with St Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham and ECCOA, volunteers putting together gift bags, and volunteers will be stopping by and visiting with the newly admitted patients on the skilled care floor at the hospital. Many times; a friendly smile and a kind word can be the best medicine, and Senior Spirit Volunteers will deliver a small gift bag filled with useful items for the patient during their stay at the hospital as well as offering important information for the return home.
